INTERLINK marched on at the top of Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group A as stalwart Ibrahim D Bismillah starred in their six-wicket win over Bradford Gymkhana.

He helped restrict Gymkhana to 186-8, taking 5-52, and then scored 56, sharing a second-wicket stand of 141 with Ismail Adam (89).

Girlington (198-7) moved into second place after a convincing win over Great Horton Church by 84 runs. Sajid Parvez (46), Mohammad Azad (49) and Musawar Shah (53no) all made contributions. Shah also bowled well, taking 5-32, including three wickets in four balls.

Salem's Meher Sultan and Shahid Iqbal took three wickets each as Apperley Bridge were all out for 133. Salem knocked the runs off in 18 overs with five wickets in hand.

VVS Laxman beat Cambing by six wickets to move into fourth place after a top performance by Balkrushna Shirke, who took 6-34 as Cambing scored 182-9 (Wajid Mahmood 59). Shirke then scored 76 as Laxman reached their target.

Bradford Moor YCA beat Omars in the highest-scoring game of the group. Moor hit 236-9 (Zafar Mahmood 42), with Mohammed Amraiz (4-58) and Majid Hussain (3-43) taking the wickets. In reply, Omars fell just short on 224 all out with Shmile Khan (87) and Syed Imran Shah (49) to the fore. However, three wickets each for Ghazanfer Khan and Asif Amir sealed the victory.

Bradford Gymkhana moved ten points clear at the top of GROUP B after beating Mandhata in a game of over 500 runs. Gymkhana were all out for 283 (Mohammad Sarwar 123, Nadeem Salam 52, Jasdev Singh Lal 5-43), a total which eluded Manhata, who were dismissed for 226, despite resilient efforts by Karan Dorka (71) and Gurwinder Singh 42.

Girlington moved into second place after four-wicket win over Hallfield at Woodhall. Shujjah Khan scored 110 as Hallfield made 231 all out in 33 overs. Rashad Mahmood took five wickets and then scored 72 as Girlington reached their target with four wickets to spare, MS Mayat also scoring 55 as Sajid Mahmood took 4-52.

Bowling Baptist beat Greenfield by six wickets.

Greenfield's 140 all out (Iftikhar Ahmed 43, Gaz Bashir 4-32, Akhtar Mahmood 4-38) was not enough as Bowling Baptist got home by six wickets, Akhtar Mahmood scoring 41 and Jav Bashir 37 not out.

Sixteen-year old Luqman Ahmed guided Great Horton Church to victory over Cross Roads Daisy Hill by 84 runs.

He scored 62 as Horton reached 173 (Bilal Mughal 5-24) before Hill finished well short, with Riadus Rashad taking 3-25.

Yorkshire LPS beat Salem by five wickets. Salem scored 175 all out (Yasir Shazad 68, Piyush Patel 7-29), a total that was passed thanks to good knocks from Bhavin B Patel (50no) and Mehul Patel (40).

Cambing have moved clear on top of group C by 13 points after beating Hallfield by 80 runs. Cambing scored 205 all out in 39.1 overs, with Yasir Ali scoring 89 and Chandan Sharma taking 4-10 for Hallfield. There was a 106-run partnership for the seventh wicket between Yasir Ali (89) and Junaid Khan (30). In reply Hallfield scored 125 all out in 39.4 overs with Irshad Mohammed scoring 33 and Mohammed Umair taking 5-23. Hallfield made a brave effort in gaining a losing draw but failed to do so with only 2 balls remaining.

Allerton beat Mayfield by 5 wickets to go into 2nd place. Mayfield scored 127 all out with Mohammad Arif taking 5-27 and Tariq Rashid taking 3-15 for Allerton. In reply Allerton scored 129-5 with Mohammad Naeem taking 3-15.

Tabs (142-4) beat Muff Field (138 all out) by 6 wickets with Bilal Khan scoring 86 not out for TABS.

Parkside beat West Bowling by 19 runs. Parkside batted first and made 136 all out off 37.1 overs, Hassan Ali (3-22) and Anjum Munir (3-42) taking the wickets for Bowling.

Skipper Adeil Mir (3-27) and Naveed Raja (3-20) restricted West Bowling to 117 all out in 30 overs.

Yorkshire Friends beat Great Horton Meths by 4 wickets. Great Horton Meths scored 110 all out with brothers Jack Llewellyn and Gareth Llewellyn scoring 29 and 20 respectively. In reply Yorkshire Friends scored 115-6 with Gareth Llewellyn taking 5-31.

Bowling Baptist are clear at the top of Group D by 10 points after beating Buttershaw St Pauls by 1 wicket. Buttershaw scored 143 for 8 with Alex Hobson scoring 54. In reply Bowling Baptist scored 146 for 9 with Vinray Virala scoring 49 and T Mahmood scoring 43.

Mayfield are in 2nd place after a winning draw against Central YMCA. Mayfield batted first and scored 178 all out in 35.3 overs with Paul Cuthbertson scoring 76 and Shahzad Ashraf scoring 42. Andy Dennis took 4-45 for YMCA. In reply Central YMCA held out for a draw after falling short of the target by 7 runs. They scored 171-8 in 44 overs. Rob Jackson scored 50 and Steve Toothill 43, Qasim Ali taking 4-36 for Mayfield.

Muff Field beat Great Horton Meths by 7 wickets. Meths were all out for 48 with Gary Smith taking 5-1 in 4 overs and Alan Broadbent 3-8. In reply Muff Field scored 50-3 with Alex Pearson scoring 24.

Yorkshire LPS beat Bradford Indians by 44 runs. LPS scored 99 all out with Nikhil Lal scoring 39 not out after opening the innings, Shiv Krishan taking 4-28 and Asif Mohammed 4-27. In reply Bradford Indians? were all out for 55 with Narendra Patel taking 3-9 and Dhiren Lal 3-12.
