WIBSEY'S Justine Davis-Hirst secured a silver medal in the European Masters at Bangor in North Wales, with a combined lift weight of 120kg in the women's 69kg 40-49 years' category.
She said: "My training was hampered due to injury and the fact that I suffer from Ménière's Disease (a rare disorder of the inner ear)."
Justine hopes to compete in the Masters International Weightlifting Federation World Championships in the autumn in Lapland.
She said of the event in Rovaniemi, Finland from September 12-19: “I need cash to help towards travel and accommodation.
"I would love to be able to promote a company, as well as Bradford and Great Britain, and there would be the opportunity to wear a company logo on my tracksuit and leotard.”
