THREE members of the world's top 100 have entered the first Aegon Ilkley Trophy next month.

World No 85 Malek Jaziri (Tunisia) heads the list for the $50,000 ATP Challenger, while fellow Davis Cup players Dudi Sela (Israel) and Blaz Rola (Slovenia) – at 91 and 97 – are the others with double-figure world rankings at Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club.

Heading up the British challenge at the event, from Saturday, June 13 to Saturday, June 20 (the ITF Women's Pro Tour final is the following day) is left-hander Liam Broady, who has already tasted success in junior Grand Slams.

Currently ranked a career-high world No 176, the British No 5 – whose sister Naomi was a pupil at Woodhouse Grove School – won the Wimbledon junior boys' doubles with Tom Farquharson in 2010 and 18 months later added the Australian Open junior boys' doubles crown with fellow Briton Joshua Ward-Hibbert.

The international nature of the most important tennis event to be staged in Yorkshire can be seen by the fact that players from 17 different nations are in the leading 22 entrants.

Sela's highlights include beating world No 4 Andy Roddick in the Aegon Trophy at Queen's Club five years ago.

And only yesterday the Israeli was defeated by Jo Wilfried Tsonga in the second round of the French Open at Roland Garros, having beaten world No 57 Mikhail Kukushkin in the opening round.

Jaziri made it to the third round of the Australian Open earlier this year, while 24-year-old Rola is looking to build on an impressive first full year on the professional tour in 2014, claiming his first Challenger title in Ghuangzhou and earning more than 35 wins overall.

Ilkley LTSC general manager Charlie Maunder said: "Ilkley may be a small town but the appetite for sport here is unrivalled and we look forward to welcoming players from all over the world to play here against the spectacular setting of Ilkley Moor.

"There are still tickets available for the tournament and this is a great opportunity for people to come and watch world-class tennis on their doorstep. We also have a number of wild-card entries to announce."
