NEIL Warnock has refused to deny rumours that he could be handed a director of football role at Valley Parade if Gianni Paladini’s takeover is successful.

The former Leeds and Sheffield United boss has been linked with a move to the Bantams under a new regime.

Warnock worked for the Italian at QPR, where he guided the London club back to the Premier League after a 15-year absence, and the pair remain firm friends.

Speaking exclusively to the Telegraph & Argus, Warnock confirmed that a job overseeing the manager could interest him.

He said: “It’s something you never know about. I do my media stuff on the radio and TV at the moment and enjoy that but it’s something I would always consider – and I don't mean just at Bradford – because I don’t want to do anything full time.

“I’m not committing myself to anything but you can never say never.”
