FIT-AGAIN Killie keeper Alan Combe will play his first game of the season tonight against Morton in the Co-operative Insurance Cup. Combe, who has recovered from injury, will take over from Cameron Bell for the second-round clash at Rugby Park.
Manager Jim Jefferies said: "Cameron has done nothing wrong, but we had always targeted the Morton game as one for bringing Alan Combe back."
Jefferies is pleased his players have ditched their long-ball tactics for tonight following the 3-1 weekend defeat at Motherwell. He said: "We told them to leave that to Wimbledon and teams like them."
"We get it down and pass it, get it wide and get it in the box for Kevin Kyle. There are times when you want to play it long, but we want to pass it."
