ANTIGUA: Two British rowers completed a 3000-mile fundraising voyage in which they were saved from starvation in a mid-Atlantic rescue and hit by 40ft waves.
Stuart Turnbull and Edward Baylis, both 26, arrived in Antigua last night after rowing unsupported across the Atlantic in a 24ft plywood boat, Memory of Zayed.
They took 63 days, 12 hours and 46 seconds to complete the epic adventure from La Gomera in the Canaries - 23 days outside the world record.
The pair's epic journey has raised more than £200,000 for Cancer Research UK.
