TWO young Bradford fencers took home medals after competing in the Yorkshire Youth Championships at Penistone Grammar School.
Bradford Fencing Club member Sam Amos, from Cleckheaton, won silver in the under-14 boys sabre event.
And Jordan Garcia of Wrose, who fences at Titus Salt School in Baildon, was awarded under-16 boys foil bronze in what was only his second competition.
Both boys go through to the British Youth Championships at Sheffield in May, where they will compete with the best young fencers in the country.
