FORMER Bulls coach Brian Noble is set for a return to rugby league with London Broncos.

The former Great Britain boss, who remains the most successful coach in Super League history after guiding Bradford to five successive Grand Finals, winning three of them, is expected to join the Broncos in a consultancy role.

Andrew Henderson was appointed as interim head coach when Joey Grima quit last week and is poised to continue in that position.

The 54-year-old Noble, who has been out of the game since being sacked by Salford last April, will work alongside him.

Noble previously worked on a consultancy basis at rugby union outfit London Wasps, where he took defensive coaching sessions.

Bradford-born Noble met staff at the Broncos yesterday and his appointment could be confirmed today.
