Adams and Malir pick up main Ilkley awards
ILKLEY Harriers celebrated having several England internationals in their ranks at their annual presentation evening.
The following awards were made for males and females in various categories – Best runner: Tom Adams, Georgia Malir; most improved runner: Dan Wilkinson, Jane McCarthy; best endurance runner, road: Andrew Merrick, Sally Malir; best endurance runner, off road: Brian Melia, Alison Weston; best runner over-50: Nick Pearce, Hilda Coulsey; best athlete under-23: Harry Maslen, Georgia Malir; best contribution to the club: Paul Stephens, Emma O'Looney; captains' award: Jack Wood, Sally Morley.
