WEST Yorkshire are holding their sportshall athletics trials at Odsal's Richard Dunn Sports Centre on Saturday, January 10.
The under-11s will start at 10am, followed by the under-13s and under-15s at 2pm, with ages as at August 31 this year.
The selectors are seeking all-round athletes to take part in the Yorkshire finals in Hull in February, but, as the event clashes with the Yorkshire Cross-Country Championships, enquiries would also be welcomed by those who cannot attend the trials but wish to be considered for selection.
Events include sprinting, over and under obstacle trials, standing jump, standing triple jump, vertical jump, chest push, target throw and soft javelin, plus agility events such as speed bounce, balance test and the hi-stepper challenge, although the events may differ for the older age groups.
