Catch details for week ending November 16 – Day ticket: Fewston 8. Total fish caught: Fewston 20. Average per rod: Fewston 2.5. The heaviest fish caught was a 3lb 3oz rainbow trout by Vincent Jones using Black Pannel. Fewston: More blue trout caught this week as fish feed just below the surface, showing as they feed on nymphs as they rise to the surface.

SALTAIRE AA

There have been some good catches on the canal. Richard East, in a three-hour session, caught 28.5lb, including one bream at 4lb 13oz. River match result for November 9: 1 James Vickerman 14 lb 6oz, 2 Carl Chadwick 11lb 8oz, 3 John Storey 9lb. Six good barbel to 4lb were caught by the match anglers.

BRADFORD No1 AA

Raskelf is continuing to fish very well for F1s and skimmers on pellet and pole or feeder. Widdington Hall will be closed this Sunday for an outside booking. Cowthorpe should produce chub and barbel on float as the river levels drop back to normal. Anglers are reminded to ensure that all litter is taken home to be disposed of and that all gates are closed on club waters.

IDLE & THACKLEY AA

Open match on River Swale at Swainby this Sunday. For bookings call 01274-615016. Annual meeting is on Monday, December 1, 9pm at Idle Working Men’s Club. Nominations for officers, committee or agenda items to be sent to club secretary by Thursday, November 27.

LISTERHILLS AA

The next members’ match at Pilley’s is on Sunday, December 7. Membership books, at a reduced rate, are still available until the end of the year. Club membership expires on December 21 each year.
