Queensbury are aiming to continue their unbeaten start to the Pennine Leage Championship campaign when neighbours Illingworth arrive at Hilltop.

Bury’s long serving prop forward Andy Senior has stepped down from the coaching role to concentrate on extending his playing career, leaving Greg Worthington and Phil Gallagher in charge of team matters.

Illingworth have also made a bright start and are third in the table but the return of Tom Hainsworth from a hamstring injury will boost Bury’s chances of continuing their march up the table. Queensbury A have Aaron Moore back in the colours for the Division Three trip to Whinmoor Warriors.

West Bowling are forced to ring the changes for the visit of Morley Borough at Emsleys Rec. Forward Ollie Bartle has work commitments and centre Adam Reardon faces a late fitness test on a leg injury. Kieran Phelan is added to the squad and West’s are hopeful that half back Liam Coe is declared fit after a long lay-off. Promising teenager Joe Smedley keeps his spot after a promising debut performance last week.

Odsal Sedbergh travel to Allerton Bywater in fine fettle following last week’s 16-12 first win of the season against Boothtown Terriers. Sedge moved up the table to third from bottom and will continue their progress with an away success against the Castleford outfit that are just one place above them.

Victoria Rangers will delay selection prior to their home clash against Siddal due to a recent glut of injuries. The loss of play-making hooker Isaac Brown is a major blow but Vics' strength in depth should come to the fore against the Halifax club.

In Division Two Wyke who are still searching for their first win are on the road at West Craven Warriors. The black and whites pack is ticking along effectively with veteran prop Ian Wormald, who travels a 200-mile round trip to play, in devastating form and if their leaky defence out wide is remedied they should return home with the spoils. Wibsey Warriors will look to Lewis Barrett to continue his sparkling recent form when they meet high flying CK Vikings at Northfield Road

Clayton welcome Division Three leaders Stanningley to Lidget Green. The Villagers who are progressing quite nicely under the radar with two wins from four outings have the necessary guile and determination to cause an upset against the Leeds side who have won three from three.
