Brighouse Town Reserves held their nerve on penalties to win 4-2 following a 4-4 draw after extra-time at home to Northowram in the Halifax Cup.
A cracker from Will Tolley and an own goal saw Town level the scores after the visitors had led 4-2 at the break. Lamin Janneh and Tom Haigh were Brighouse’s other scorers.
Thackley under-19s had their friendly against Hunslet called off due to all the rain on their Dennyfield pitch.
