ALBION Sports rocketed up six places to fifth in the early-season Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division table with a 3-2 home win over Retford United.

Albion took a 2-0 lead into the break after a first-half brace from Alex Cusack.

Retford’s Liam Wilkin cut the home side’s lead in the 68th minute but a late Danny Facey goal won it for Albion even though the visitors’ Bobby Johnson netted in stoppage time.

ECCLESHILL made it back-to-back victories in Division One when they hammered Selby Town 4-1 at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium with goals from Steve Rivera (2), Viktor Balis and Josh Rosenstrauch.
