GOALKEEPER Ben Williams has signed a deal with City until the end of 2014.

The 32-year-old has impressed in his two outings in the Capital One Cup against Morecambe and Leeds.

Williams, who has been with the club on a non-contract basis, has plenty of experience with well over 400 appearances for Crewe, Colchester and Hibernian.

Makes sense, looked good against Leeds, very good hands and no chance with their goal.

Good enough to have been given a deal at least until the end of the season. However, PP knows what he is doing.

I suppose it gives both Player and Club , another option in the January Transfer Window.
* But I agree with Halifax Bantam and Bantambhoy, he has shown his experience and abilities already. Which could warrant a further extension of his contract.

Pickford and Williams are good signings-in fact, Williams might have been offered a longer deal. But, why have THREE goalkeepers.

To be honest my main disappointment now that the window has closed is we don't have a natural winger.

Is there room for a winger within the formation though?
