IT'S Castleford away this weekend and it will be an interesting one for Luke Gale in particular.

They picked the right time this week to announce the news that he will be joining Cas next season!

But Galey has done the right thing by himself and was the first player to agree a contract elsewhere several months ago.

He has got a good deal there and is going to a great club, so there is no-one at Bradford who begrudges him anything at all.

We all wish him the best of luck because he’s a great bloke and I’ve always got on with him brilliantly since I moved to Bradford.

Good luck to him and I can see why he wants to join Castleford.

He’s a Super League player and will continue to be a Super League player.

From all the guys here, there is no jealousy whatsoever.

We are all made up for him because it’s a good career move and at the end of the day it’s a professional sport.

There is all this talk about Galey leaving but nothing gets said about the lads such as Sam Wood who are not going to have anything for next season.

You’ve got to look after yourself, so good luck to Galey.

I believe Bradford will do very well next season and bounce straight back under Jimmy Lowes.

He’s a very aggressive coach and that’s what you need at Championship level.

In terms of myself, I don’t think I’m ready to play in the Championship at this stage in my career. I’ve made it clear to the club that I’m looking at other options.

I have had some serious interest about switching codes from rugby union clubs but the truth is I’ve not signed anywhere just yet.

I am speaking to a couple of rugby union clubs and the offers are going to be a lot better than what I’d get from a rugby league club.

The Bulls have been good to me and I’m happy for everyone, especially the fans, to know what is happening.

Hopefully my future will be sorted soon and we can continue to finish the season on a high by winning all our remaining games.
