PEEL Park head Stanningley Albion on goal difference at the top of the Premier Division after two matches of the new Bradford Sunday Alliance League season.

Adam Turner scored five as Park went on a 14-2 rampage at Bradford Moor. New recruit Sean Jack added a hat-trick and Alan Morley junior notched a brace.

Stanningley were also among the goals as they accounted for hosts Bolton Woods 8-2.

Thornton United were 6-1 winners at George Hotel as a Danny Walker hat-trick was supported by two goals from man-of-the-match defender Rob Hutchinson.

Promoted Buttershaw Celtic shared two goals and the points against top-flight stalwarts West Bowling, who missed a late penalty.

Visitors Bowling were the better team in the first half and led by a Phil Brogden goal but Buttershaw turned it round after the interval and drew level through Liam Keeley.

The hosts could even have won in the closing stages when Keeley hit a thunderbolt shot against the crossbar.

Swaine Green showed great character and patience in Division One to hit back from a 2-1 interval deficit and win 3-2 at Cuedos Rangers.

Elliott Holmes saw his powerful early effort for Green overturned before the interval and Rangers looked set to add to their lead after the break.

But the visitors dug deep and gradually got on top, forcing several saves before Chris Edgley popped up unmarked from a corner to head an equaliser.

Then in the last minute Antonio Burke laid the ball back to skipper Andy Lee and he hit the winner that lifted Swaine joint-top of the early table with White Eagles, who beat Bradford Phoenix 7-2.

Oakenshaw are also at the summit with six points after defeating Red Lion 3-1.

Mill Lane cruised past Eccleshill Punjab 10-0 in Division 2A, with Steve Hollingsworth hitting five and Dean Pepper four.

The local derby in Division 2B finished all square at 3-3 between Eccleshill WMC and Eccleshill Sunday.

In Division 3B, George United were losing to Bradford Vale after ten minutes but led 3-1 at half-time and went on to log a 5-3 victory. Andy Smith's double was supported by Damon Brophy, Thomas Jeffs and Steven Stansfield.
