dreadfull we had no idea whatsoever today no coesion no ideas we miss wide men when like today the midfield is stalemated.

one very difficult problem is McLean again a waste of space did not chase did not run touched the ball maybe 3 times in his 25 minutes on pitch.

Is this guy for real ? First half we were excellent , second half started ok but lost a bit of shape after Davies injury ! Peterborough are a good side and will be up there come the end of the season . Up the Bantams

I agree we weren't dreadfull but one thing that stood out a mile was we were of the pace Peterborough were at us for 80 min of the game.

Dreadfull should be aimed at the refferee what a shocker he had the liners were not much better, how on earth do people get to officiate over proffesional players and expect the supporters to appreciate them with decisions that he made today, a 5 year old could have done better I am not blaming the refferee for the result but officials like these should be retired permanently .

Very very poor second half just looked like we didn't have the energy to carry on but perked up a little at the end, wrong tactics for me going back to the lump it upfield and get a flickon from Hanson to Bennett, defense fell to bits when Davies went off which led to the goal but did strengthen as the game went on. Bad decision after bad decision for the ref, lost control of the game and failed to penalise the constant fouling for Hanson. Could go on and on about what he failed to do and how he make the wrong decision time after time but the the main concern after that is Daviess arm. The way he was holding it when he went off really looked like a break To his forearm or elbow. Just what we could do without doing up against Leeds next game. Just hope Clarkes able to play on Wednesday because he provides that attacking touch Bennett and McLean were missing today.

City's successful form came to a shuddering halt at VP today, when they were beaten at home by Peterboro'. Truth to tell, there were a number of issues which contributed to this loss, but the main one was City were muscled aside by a strong powerful side, well- disciplined particularly in defence and in the end, tactically superior.

The first half was closer, with both sides playing some decent football but without either team managing to make a breakthrough.

However, in the second, things started to go the 'Posh's' way. First, Andrew Davies went down and came off with what looked a bad injury to his arm. Within seconds, P'boro had taken advantage of the changes (made by by PP-Meredith on at left back/Sheehan switched to Central defence.) And from that moment, The Posh basically 'locked/ bolted' the door! Despite huffing/puffing from City they could not blow P'boro's house down. P' borough looked secure and confident and City never really looked seriously like scoring!! (With nine mins of added tim

NB: 1) the referee gave City nothing and ignored or didn't see the way James Hanson was pushed, grabbed, man handled off the ball, sometimes by two or more Posh defenders!!

2) Hanson did well under the circumstances and did produce some decent headers.

3) The way Boro' played cried out for City to put on a winger (like Reid) to attack their capable full backs. Certainly City's formation was up against a brick wall.

4) Jason Kennedy got MOTM-he did OK.

5) should PP have replaced Davies with a like for like central defender. One positional change instead of two?!!

6) McLean and yeates came on as subs and produced...nothing.

7) Bennett also looked very quiet.

8) This game will certainly inform PP of his strengths and weaknesses. Eight days to the transfer deadline, he might be advised to being in a genuine partner for Hanson. McLean more and more does not look like the answer.

Peterborough are a strong side and likely to end up in the top six at least. City fell short of that standard and showed we must keep our feet on the ground. Improvement will happen but whether we'e good enough for a promotion push this year remains to be seen.

We were out muscled by a very strong Peterborough side, they are going to be there or there about come May. Not much you can say about the referee, the Football League should have to explain some of these displays. James Hanson was fouled just about every time he jumped for a ball, but having said that when he flicked it on there was nobody there to take advantage. As for McLean, I think enough has been said about him, just looks a complete waste of money. Not sure about Pickford, punching the ball too much for me, instead of collecting it like Alnwick, who looked a decent keeper and we had him on trial !!

I honestly don't know how McLean gets in the squad. It makes my blood boil when I think of what he's being paid. I wonder what some of his team mates think of the situation.

Hull City must be laughing their socks off at how they managed to get him off their payroll.

Peterborough had a weakened team with a couple of 18 year olds playing and they were still a very good team. Second half we were awful and overall we did not create enough chances. I have liked the diamond so far this season but the second half was crying out for a change. With the squad we have could we not be more adaptable? The empty space I. Front of our full baks was waisted which encouraged the long ball. Please learn from this

Well, I for one will applaud Naki, should he come to VP. He was the one player who was instrumental in us getting to Wembley twice, although the whole team worked their socks off. The man has moved on because he wants to progress his football, career and don't give me the rubbish, that he has gone to a worse, or a smaller team. If that were the case then he wouldn't have moved on. Huddersfield have a brilliant knack of buying players at low price, developing them and selling them on for a large profit. Look at Jordan Rhodes. They paid £150,000 for him and sold him on for £8 million. If he goes to to Hull for £12 million they will pick up 20% of that. If they do the same with Nhaki and sell him on for say £8 million then we will pick up a large slice of that ourselves. Football changes all the time and we have to accept that our favourite players will move on. When they do, we should wish them all the best, especially if they have given 100% service to City, as Nhaki did.

Well said.

Wells doesn't look like a £1m player at Huuds never mind £8.

League 1 is his level.
