Bradford Dudley Hill 54, Castleford Panthers 0
DUDLEY Hill's bid for the coveted second Kingstone Press National Conference League promotion spot from Division Two remains bang on course following this thumping home win over Castleford Panthers.
Hill's points machine, hooker Nathan Kitson, continued on his merry way with yet another hat-trick to hover one touchdown behind leading try-scorer Aiden Batey, who kept his nose in front with a well-crafted brace to finish off the half-century rout.
Wingman Neil Wall started the ball rolling when he crossed after two minutes and went on to post another effort in the Parry Laners' 22-0 half-time total.
Prop Adam Jefferson chipped in with two powerhouse plunges and wingman Jamie Brentley also reached the whitewash.
Kitson landed seven conversions to earn a personal tally of 26 points, enabling Hill to establish a one-point advantage over leading rivals Elland.
Both sides now have a well-earned rest due to Challenge Cup final weekend before they meet the following Saturday to decide who will almost certainly go up to Division One.
