JOE Arundel sees no reason why the in-form Bulls cannot stay unbeaten for the rest of the season following their run of three straight wins.

Sunday's 34-28 success over Hull FC was the first time in two years that Bradford had claimed three Super League victories on the bounce.

It continued the team's and, indeed, Arundel's renaissance in recent weeks under new coach Jimmy Lowes.

The 22-year-old centre is on a season-long loan from Hull and scored twice against his parent club on Sunday.

Arundel said: "It's always good to play well but I think I've played well for the last couple of weeks now.

"It's just about getting that bit of consistency – but it was good to play well and show what I can do, especially against Hull.

"The whole part of me coming here was to get game-time and get back playing well and obviously trying to help Bradford stay up.

"Unfortunately that is not going to happen but, with the form we have shown in recent weeks, I'm sure we can go unbeaten for the rest of the season."

Arundel said the vigour that Lowes had brought to the Bulls in training was transmitting to their performances in games.

"Jimmy has brought a lot to our game and training has been harder with a real intensity to it," he said.

"We are showing that intensity in games – when someone makes a break, we've got five or six players chasing back ready to go.

"It was a good team performance on Sunday. We got off to a sloppy start but we came out strongly in the second half and got a great win.

"We've always had a good team here and we will never know where we might be if Jimmy had come in earlier.

"He has definitely changed something about us and we are playing well, which bodes well for the rest of this season and, indeed, next season."

Both Jay Pitts and Arundel have two years left on their contracts at Hull and could return to fight for their places at the KC Stadium.

Arundel said: "At this moment in time, I think I'm going back to Hull because I'm under contract there."
