BRADFORD City have today confirmed the signing of goalkeepers Matt Urwin and Ben Williams and winger Mo Shariff on non-contract terms.

Manchester-born Williams, who began his career at Manchester United, joins the Bantams having left Hibernian at the end of last season.

Shariff, 21, moves to Valley Parade after impressing while recently on trial with the Bantams following his depature from QPR at the end of last season.

Shariff featured in three friendlies for City over recent weeks, including last Saturday's draw at home to Hartlepool United where he hit the crossbar with a fizzing drive from distance.

The forward-thinking player, whose full name is Abdalla Mohamed Shariff, came to the Bantams' attention after leaving QPR over the summer.

The Burundi-born Shariff actually started his career with non-league side Slough Town before impressing QPR while on trial with the London side back in August 2010.

The 31-year-old will compete for on-loan Sunderland stopper Jordan Pickford for the gloves and jersey while Urwin, 20, will also jostle for position following his recent successful trial at Valley Parade, having left Blackburn at the end of last season.
