CITY of Bradford Esprit Club member Holly Waxman has struck gold abroad.
The 11-year-old won the three-metre Girls Group C springboard (for 11-13 year olds) by a massive 28 points at an international competition in Bimbimgamba, Italy.
Holly, who was competing in her first outdoor event after successes at the British Gas Elite Junior Championships, was supported by her club coach Becky Lee and nine England team-mates.
The Esprit member also competed in the platform, where she was sixth, and her least favourite event, the one-metre springboard, where she was tenth.
