LEADERS Girlington have extended their lead to 63 points in Group A of the Mutual Sunday School League after beating second-placed Bradford Moor by 28 runs.
Girlington made 203-6 with Saj Parvez (59no) and Abdul Rehman (52) leading the way. Bradford Moor were all out for 175 with Mohammed Qadeer scoring 64.
Interlink recorded a five-wicket win over Salem while Cambing A gained a winning draw against Apperley Bridge. Cambing batted first and scored 209-7 with Fazal Wazir scoring 59 and Hashim Hashmi (40).
Apperley Bridge made 122-8 off their 40 overs, with skipper Mohammed Junaid scoring 45no as Hameed Khan took 4-36 for Cambing.
The second team to gain a winning draw was Great Horton Church against Bradford Gymkhana A.
Great Horton Church scored 268-6 with Hans Rhandawa (73) and Sibtul Imran (92) sharing a fourth-wicket stand of 163. Gymkhana scored 118-9 as Raees Ishtiaq took 6-23.
In Group B, Omars took full advantage of playing while their rivals Salem and VVS Laxman had their games called off. They beat Girlington II by seven wickets with Raizwan Ali taking 6-17 as they dismissed their rivals for 82.
Allerton scored the highest total of the day, 268-6 off 35 overs, with Gurpreet Rombab scoring 55, Nabeel Nawaz (48), Rabnawaz (54no) and Shafqat Zaheer (64no). Hallifield were 148-6 in 25 overs when rain halted play. Nayyar Iftikhar followed up his 4-40 for Hallfield with a knock of 52.
Yorkshire Friends beat Yorkshire LPS by nine wickets in Group C. Iftikhar Ahmed took 4-20 as LPS were dismissed for 97. Shazad Akhtar was unbeaten on 46 when victory was achieved.
West Bowling moved into second place after beating Hallfield by two wickets. Hallfield scored 144 and had their rivals 2-3 before 59 from wicketkeeper Adam Harlow, and a ninth-wicket partnership of 39 between Ben Thornton and Anjum Munir, saw West Bowling home.
Central YMCA beat Bradford Indians by nine runs in Group D. YMCA scored 113 all out with Steve Toothill making 45 as Vickranjeet Singh took 5-11. Indians made 104 as Andy Dennis took 5-19 for YMCA.
Cambing beat Muff Field B by five wickets. Fahim Jan took 5-4, including a hat-trick, as Muff Field were dismissed for 130. Yassir Ali scored 80 not out to see Cambing home.
