FARSLEY suffered a 4-3 defeat at Garforth Town in last night’s pre-season friendly.

Manager Neil Parsley made several changes to the line-up after taking the same squad to Hemsworth on Monday.

The home side took the lead but Farsley hit back through skipper Rob O’Brien.

Then when Ross Daly was fouled on the edge of the area, Aiden Savory stepped forward to fire the resulting free-kick into the top corner. Garforth hit back to draw level just before the break and went back in front early in the second half.

Farsley substitute Marcus Edwards struck to make it 3-3 but, despite later chances for him and Adam Priestley, the visitors failed to seal the game and paid the price as Garforth netted a late winner.
