BULLS starlet Sam Wood will remain at Dewsbury Rams on dual-registration terms for the foreseeable future.

The academy product has scored two tries in as many appearances since arriving at the club and looks certain to stay with Glenn Morrison's men until the end of the season.

The homegrown 20-year-old has endured a frustrating campaign as he is no longer eligible for the Under-19s and has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.

He last featured for the Bulls in the Magic Weekend defeat to Huddersfield and it remains to be seen if he will be offered a new deal to stay at Odsal beyond this season.

Rams boss Morrison said: “Sam is a quality young player who has already made nine appearances for the Bulls in Super League, including five this season.

“We're glad to be able to keep him on board.”

Dewsbury have also extended the loan of former Bulls centre Ben Hellewell from Featherstone until the end of the season.
