JAMES Askew is Bingley Harriers' best junior all-rounder.

The under-15 boys' winner confirmed this by winning the club's prestigious Pulton Cup – the club's track and field annual championships – which attracted a healthy 94 entrants in glorious weather to Beckfoot School.

The under-nines, under-11s, under-13s and under-15 age groups showed increased numbers from last year, and even the usually sparse under-17s and under-20s categories attended.

Boys: 1 George Hahn, 2 Samuel Mantle, 3 Jenson Vyse. Under-13s, girls: 1 Georgia Pilling, 2 Lucy Robinson, 3 Olivia Frances. Boys: 1 John-Luke Hutchinson, 2 Jordon Vento, 3= Thomas McMahon, Sam Brooks. Under-15s, girls: 1= Georgia Briggs, Tyler Moore, 3 Charlotte Pickstone.
