BRADFORD's Billy Harding has continued his development in the Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup with rounds in the Czech Republic and Germany.
The 18-year-old Orange Monkey Pro Team rider from Birkenshaw was 100th in Nove Mesto na Morave, where he had a big crash last year, and 93rd in Albstadt.
Harding is struggling to find his form and was unlucky to be taken out by an elite backmarker in the second round of the British Series at Wheal Maid Valley in Cornwall, finishing 17th in the junior male race and bringing into focus whether they should be run as separate events.
Round three was at a drastically improved Margam Park course in Wales, Harding coming home 11th.
Bradley's Ed McParland (Torq Performance) was 22nd in the elite male race at Wheal Maid Valley, where Amira Mellor (Paul Milnes Cycles-Bradford Olympic RC) was eighth among the junior females and clubmates Robert Thackray 25th in the master males and Sophie Thackray ninth in the youth females.
Cononley's Ian Taylor (Jedi Cycle Sport) was second among the veteran males.
At Margam Park, McParland was 38th, Mellor fifth, Sophie Thackray ninth and Taylor first.
Ilkley Cycles' Bruce Rollinson was fifth in the grand vet males.
