FARSLEY have added a fifth friendly to their list of pre-season games – and also now know who they will face in the big FA competitions.
Neil Parsley’s men will travel to Hemsworth MW for a pre-season match on Monday, July 28, which will be their third of five warm-up fixtures.
As an Evo-Stik League club, Farsley are exempt from the extra-preliminary round of the FA Cup on Saturday, August 16.
However, they will face the winners of the Athersley Recreation v Winsford United tie in the preliminary round, which is a fortnight later.
Should they be successful in that, they would host Frickley Athletic – from the division higher than Farsley in the Evo-Stik League set-up – on September 13.
Later in the season, the FA Trophy gets underway and Parsley’s men have been fortunate in getting a home tie in the first qualifying round. They will host Blyth Spartans on Saturday, November 1.
