Raffaele De Vita must prove he is worth a second look from Bradford City

RAFFAELE De Vita is ready to step up his bid to show City he is worth a second chance.
Phil Parkinson's men are back in training after their weekend off as they prepare for the first action of pre-season.
It will be a significant spell for De Vita, who is aiming to convince Parkinson that he is worth another contract offer.
The Italian winger's first year at the club was ravaged by a thigh injury which kept him out of action for four months.
City did not take up the option of a second term on De Vita's contract – but invited him back to train with them.
Parkinson said: "With Raffa, we just wanted to look at his injury and how he's recovered because obviously it was causing concern last year.
"We haven't done much ball work so far but he has been fine with the running. We'll just see how he goes.
"We know he's a good lad who will always work really hard. He's really fit but it's just a case of checking how he gets on before deciding what might happen."
De Vita started only nine games last season but, with finances limited as City look to boost numbers, he would fit well within the budget – providing his recovery is complete.
Parkinson admits he has been "frustrated" with his recruitment plans but he still wants to add another five players before the season opens on August 9.
The City chief said: "I'm pleased with what we've got in but obviously we do need more because numbers are light. We've got a few trialists in and we'll continue to have a look at them.
"Training is going well and I was pleased with the first week. Now we'll start to do some more ball work building up to Guiseley."
