ZAHID Khaliq starred as Group A leaders Girlington continued their Bradford Mutual Sunday School League title pursuit with a winning draw against mid-table Interlink.

Girlington powered to 280-8 as Khaliq scored 150, whacking 14 sixes and sharing a fourth-wicket stand of 115 with Sajid Parvez (29). Khaliq then picked up 4-34 as Interlink were left hanging on at 166-9 (Ismail Adam 48).

Bradford Moor dropped from second to third after being crushed by 122 runs as they were all out for 97 in reply to fourth-placed Cambing's 219-9.

Salem Athletic took over in second place after beating Bradford Gymkhana by seven wickets, dismissing them for just 68 as Majid Rehman took 4-18.

Heaton edged out second-bottom Apperley Bridge by two wickets after restricting them to 140-8 thanks to Zaka Ullah's 4-29.

Great Horton Church A earned a winning draw against basement side Yorkshire LPS A after fine knocks by Hans Rhandawa (107) and Harris Butt (45) enabled them to post 232-9 (Pradip Patel 4-30). LPS were 122-6 in response.

Salem B won the battle of the Group B top two and took over at the summit from beaten opponents VVS Laxman, who were dismissed for only 80. Salem lost a single wicket in achieving their goal.

Omars regained second spot after beating Bowling Baptists by 45 runs. Omars made 218 courtesy of Ismail Khan's 81, Asad Hussain taking 4-29. Baptists were then all out for 173 (Asad Hussain 56, Shmile Khan 4-36).

Fourth-placed Greenfield (233-6 – Iftikhar Ahmed 81, Qamar Hassan 46) got a winning draw against Great Horton Church (135-7).

Girlington B beat Hallfield A by 29 runs, posting 145 (Mohammed Saghir 55 runs) before dismissing their opponents for 116 (Waqas Ahmed Sheikh 41) thanks to Imran Ali (5-25).

There were plenty of runs as Bradford Gymkhana (327-7 – Shoaib Khushal 77, Jaskirat Singh 77no, Faizi Khan 58) took a winning draw against Allerton, who replied with 221-7 (Masood Zaman 66, Mohammed Azeem 40, Zafran Dawood 4-56).

Yorkshire Friends beat Great Horton Meths by 82 runs to remain top of Group C. Friends scored 150-3 (Tariq Hussain 63no) before Iftikhar Ahmed's 5-25 helped bowl out Meths for 68.

Hallfield B are up to second after beating Parkside (97 – Shabaz Ishaq 4-19) by three wickets.

West Bowling (130 – Pritesh Patel 4-47) dropped two places to fourth after losing by seven wickets to Mandhata, for whom Kunal Patel scored 59.

Mayfield (115) did well to beat Cross Road Daisy Hill by 26 runs as Faisal Mohammed and Ali Asghar took four wickets each to run them out for 89.

Muff field beat Yorkshire LPS by five wickets after dismissing them for 117 (Hasan Malik 4-44).

Group D leaders TABS won again – this time by seven wickets against second-bottom Central YMCA, who were all out for 106 (Harman Kang 4-28) before Tahir Qazi hit 59 not out.

Buttershaw St Pauls beat Great Horton Meths (67 – J Taylor 4-11) by four wickets. Joe Deaking took 4-7 for Meths but this was not quite enough.

Cambing B (185-9 – Yasir Ali 69, Fahim Jan 63) snuck past Bradford Indians(175 – Imran Kasuji 63, Rahul Bhargave 59) by ten runs.
