TWO members of Brighouse-based Pennine Bowling Club for the visually impaired have had notable performances.

Kevin Page won five of his seven matches to finish runner-up in a strong B4 category at the Visually Impaired Bowls England (VIBE) national singles at Royal Leamington Spa, while June Holroyd represented England in the Home Internationals in Glasgow and will play for them in the World Championships in New Zealand next year.

Pennine BC use their flat green at Wellholme Park on Tuesdays between April and September, while there is winter play indoors at Whitcliffe Mount School in Cleckheaton.
