Bradford Dudley Hill 54, Elland 6

HOOKER Nathan Kitson completed a hat-trick in a stunning Dudley Hill second-half demolition job that put Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Two high-fliers Elland to the sword at Parry Lane.

There was little sign of the mayhem that was to follow in a very competitive start that saw centre Alex Dickinson open the Hill tariff with an unconverted try.

Kitson then made the chalk, leaving wingman Simon Sewell to tag on the extras, before the second-placed visitors replied with a converted try to close the gap.

Sewell eased Hill into a 12-6 interval advantage with a penalty to bring to a close a hard-fought first half.

Hill struck a telling blow on the restart when second-row forward Willy Woodhead crossed from the kick-off.

Scrum half Andy Robinson quickly followed and Kitson landed the first of his five conversions before packman Elliot Cousin kept the scoreboard ticking over.

When wingman Neil Wall added another on the hour, Hill were effectively out of sight at 32-6.

The introduction of lively substitute Isaac Brown added to Elland's woes as Hill continued their procession to the whitewash with two more Kitson touchdowns to complete his treble.

Centre Aiden Batey then added a solo effort before loose forward Adam Jefferson compounded the visitors' humiliation with the final try in the last minute.
