A CENTURY opening stand between Josh Atkinson and Ben Morley put Otley on the way to a convincing Aire-Wharfe League win over Rawdon and sent them back to the top of Division One.

Atkinson (74) and Morley (69) put on 139 and, with support from James Davies (65no), saw their side to 263-5, all of the wickets falling to Anthony Gilks.

Ben Heritage (41) and Conor McInerney (39) gave Rawdon a solid start but they failed to build on it and were dismissed for 165, Morley rounding off a good afternoon with 3-6 off four overs.

Otley are level on points with Burley but edged ahead having won more games, leaving Burley to rue collapsing from 197-5 to 210 all out, thus squandering a fifth batting bonus point.

Charlie Davy (59) was their top scorer but the match-winner was undoubtedly Shane Etherington, who took 8-38 as Pool were bowled out for 118.

The tightest finish came at Guiseley, who looked in with a chance to overhaul Collingham's 214-7 while Nadim Hussain (43) and Nasir Jamal (39) were putting on 74 for the seventh wicket.

But 17-year-old Chris Bridge broke the partnership with the first wicket of a hat-trick and, despite the efforts of last pair Marcus Brown and Chris Wain – who hit 21 not out in 12 balls – Guiseley were three short of victory at the close.

Robbie Miller hit a half-century in Ben Rhydding's 190-8, in which Henry Wilson took 5-44, before Harry Nielsen steered Ilkley home by six wickets with an unbeaten 94.

Stephen Pearson (25) was the only batsman to threaten the Bilton bowling as Steeton never looked on course to overtake the home side's 173-9.

Bolton Villas' only victory in the first half of the Division Two season was an opening-day win over Skipton – and they started the second half of the campaign by doing the double.

Lewis Brown (4-35) and Junaid Bashir (4-22) dismissed Skipton for 212, with No 6 Gary Owens scoring 45, before Lee Margerison (55no) and Tony Jones (34no) saw Villas home by seven wickets.

Green Lane picked up maximum points at Upper Wharfedale but Tom Cummins' half-century was the only bright spot for Harden as they went down by 140 runs to Adel.

Luke Holroyd (61) found few partners as Thackley collapsed from 96-2 to 126, giving leaders Follifoot a comfortable target, while Tong Park Esholt fell 50 runs short of Colton's 155.

Addingham have been throwing away winning positions this season but made no mistake in their Division Three clash with Menston.

Will Atkins (58), Johnny Johnson (49) and Tom Smallwood (43) led the way as they raced to 290-9, before Calvin Hewitt followed up an unbeaten 28 with 5-77 as the visitors were dismissed for 183.

Chris Wheeler (58no and 4-20) and Will Pearson starred as Olicanian beat Silsden by six wickets. But even a spirited late rally from Tom Westerman (57no) and Jonathan Hudson (24no) could not take Calverley past New Rover's 259-6.

Both Horsforth sides had an easy afternoon. Michael Lambert (5-33) and Mark McEneaney (3-29) dismissed Woodhouse for 96 to keep Horsforth top of the table, while Ally Walshaw (3-22) and a 6-40 spell from Jonathan Postle skittled out Bardsey for 86, setting up Hall Park's seven-wicket win.
