In GROUP B of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League, Omars' 84-run defeat against Allerton has proved costly.

The leaders have slipped from first to third after Allerton made 205-8, Kamran Raza scoring 52 with Shmile Khan taking 4-44. Omars were bowled out for 121, Rizwan Ali scoring 45 not out and Akhil bagging 4-24.

VVS Laxman are the new front-runners after a six-wicket win over Girlington, who made 209 (Shahid Saleem 81, Usman 54, Milan Patel 5-29). Laxman replied with 212-4, with Sachin Rathamamy scoring 76 and Rated Patel 52.

Salem Athletic B have moved into second after beating Great Horton Church B by six wickets.

Church made 189-5 (Shokat Ali 67) but a second-wicket stand of 115 between Abdul Basit (74) and Mohammad Awais (80no) helped Salem reach 190-4.

Greenfield, who are without skipper Ibrar Ahmed for four weeks due to suspension, are up to fourth following their excellent two-wicket win over Bowling Baptists in a high-scoring game.

Baptists scored 230 (Qasim Malik 86), Greenfield replying with 232-8 off 37.2 overs, with Waqas Malik hitting 55, Ibrar Hussain 46 not out and Mazhar Iqbal 40.

Bradford Gymkhana B lost to Hallfield A by seven wickets after making 150, Hallfield A getting 152-3 after tea (T Iqbal 42, Nayyar Iftikhar 47).

Girlington still lead Group A after a five-wicket victory over Apperley Bridge, with Zahid Khaliq the all-round hero with 4-24 and 47 not out for the winners.

Bradford Moor remain in second but were pushed all the way by Interlink, Younus Bismallah hitting 42 and taking 4-47 for the latter, who lost by one wicket.

Interlink made 159 (Abdul Hameed 6-29) and Bradford Moor (Imran Haider 50).

Salem Athletic stayed third after defeating Great Horton Church A by 142 runs.

Athletic made 225-9 (Abdul Samad 66) before dismissing Great Horton Church for 83 (Savaiz Bashir 43, Majid Rehman 4-34).

Cambing were also emphatic winners as Yorkshire LPS were defeated by 113 runs, Fazal Wazir and Umar Zaman scoring 60 and 41 respectively for Cambing. LPS were all out for 113 as Hashim Hashmi took 5-35.

Bradford Gymkhana had a close game, beating Heaton by three wickets with two balls to spare.

Heaton scored 198-9, Gymkhana replying with 201-7 (Shezad Khaliq 90, Mohammed Shoaib snr 42).

In Group C, Yorkshire Friends remain top by a point lead over West Bowling after beating Parkside by 124 runs.

Friends scored 194-9 (Bilal Hussain 66, Adeil Mir 4-27) before dismissing Parkside for 70 (Iftikhar Ahmed 5-17).

West Bowling stayed second after their six-wicket win over Great Horton Meths A, who were dismissed for 83 (Usman Ali Ahmed 4-24). Chris Carter hit 47 of Bowling's 84-4.

Hallfield B are still third after defeating Mayfield A by eight wickets, the latter scoring 152 (Adnan Bhatti 4-21, Rizawan Ali 4-35).

An opening partnership of 118 between Chandan Sharma (56) and Asif Haider (85no) helped Hallfield reach 153-2.

However, Mandata moved into fourth with a nine-wicket victory over Muff Field A, who totalled 148 (Anthony Romano 50, Naresh Patel 4-29). Harshad Patel and Dilan Patel scoring unbeaten 58 and 42 respectively.

Adam Hussain's all-round display helped Cross Roads & Daisy Hill beat Yorkshire LPS B by five wickets.

Viral Patel scored 47 in LPS B's 80 all out, Hussain taking 4-19 Yorkshire LPS B scored 80 all out with Viral Patel scoring 47 and Adam Hussain taking 4-19 before he made 41 not out in Daisy's reply of 81-5.

In Group D, young Muff Field B skipper Jared Priestley scored 103 and shared a fourth-wicket stand of 151 with veteran Mohammed Bismillah (54) in their 148-run victory over Great Horton Meths B.

Muff Field made 220 (Clive Paget 4-37) before Meths were bowled out for 72 (Bismillah 4-16).

TABS remain at the top after beating Cambing B by seven wickets.

Cambing scored 166-7 (Uzair Salman 40), Raja Shahraz Ali hitting 95 in TABS' 167-3.

Mayfield B have moved into second place after beating Central YMCA by seven wickets in a low-scoring encounter.

YMCA scored 65, Qasim Ali taking 4-22 for Mayfield B, who scored 67-3 after tea.

Buttershaw St Paul's slipped down to third after losing to Bradford Indians by 18 runs.

Indians made 105 in 27 overs (Michael Chub 4-22, John Taylor 4-27) but Buttershaw were dismissed for 87 in 29.2 overs (Vikram Singh 4-16).
