THORNTON now know their quarter-final opponents in the Foster's Halifax League Twenty20 competition.
They will travel to Mytholmroyd on Tuesday, July 8, with a reserve date of the following Tuesday.
Jack Earle took 3-17 as Mytholmroyd restricted Blackley to 120-8, which was passed in 14.5 overs as Tom Greenwood made 38 against his former club and James Cowens hit an unbeaten 30.
The other quarter-finals are Booth v Jer Lane, Southowram v Wibsey Park Chapel and Sowerby St Peters v Copley.
