Two quick tries from prop forward Anthony Lawton paved the way for a mammoth Dudley Hill home win against Stanley Rangers in Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Two.

The Parry Laners went behind early doors to an unconverted try from Rangers centre James Senkew before wingman Jamie Brentley made the chalk and full back Simon Sewell slotted over the extras for a 6-4 advantage.

Lawton then stuck twice in rapid succession, quickly followed by further efforts from centre Aiden Batey and scum half Andy

Robinson, which, together with three more Sewell conversions, saw Hill cruising to a bumper total.

Rangers' dangerman Senkew interrupted the one-way traffic with his second touchdown just before the half-time whistle, and the sides changed ends at 28-8.

Stanley tightened up their defence on the restart but could not prevent wingman Neil Wall reaching the whitewash as Hill turned on the gas once more.

Senkew stemmed the flow with his hat-trick, setting a fine example his team-mates failed to follow, before the home barrage continued with touchdowns from centre Alex Dickinson and second-row forward Harry Hall.

Sewell added a try to his six conversions and Brentley closed the Hill account with a brace.

Senkew had the final say when he crossed for his fourth try of the match to register all the visitors' points but it was only a minor blip in a Hill performance that now sees them handily placed to mount a challenge to the top four in the business end of the season.
