RUGBY LEAGUE:
Thornhill Trojans have been awarded £1,000 by Challenge Cup sponsors Tetley’s as part of their Pass It On campaign.
The club won the prize by securing the most mentions on Facebook and Twitter during the initiative’s second month.
They were presented with their cheque by former players and current Super League stars Danny Brough, of Huddersfield Giants, and Paul Sykes, of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, who was formerly with Bradford Bulls.
