Holders Jer Lane will host Thornton in a quarter-final of the Foster’s Halifax League’s Parish Cup.

The former Bradford Central League pair will meet twice in seven days at Jer.

The cup tie is on Sunday, June 15, and the pair meet in the Premier Division the following Saturday.

There is also a Bradford derby in the Crossley Shield, with Wibsey Park Chapel travelling to Queensbury, while Jer will visit Northowram Hedge Top.

Jer Lane were easy Cup winners against Cullingworth. Half-centuries from Jordan Laban, Andrew Pinfield and Nasser Chowdrey helped Lane to 301-8, youngster Jake Rogers having produced an excellent opening spell for the visitors.

Lane were happy to contain Cull-ingworth’s batsmen early on and Laban (5-14) and Jason Gelder (4-28) then dismissed the visitors for 128.

Booth romped to a 187-run win over regular cup opponents Low Moor.

Rob Laycock made 102 in Booth's 272-7, and there was no way back for Moor after Chris Shannon (4-24) had left the visitors in tatters at 29-5. Moor totalled 85.

Dom Walsh’s unbeaten 92 helped Blackley to 265-6, and that was more than enough to beat visitors Clayton, who replied with 160.

Southowram won the battle of the “Rams”, beating section-lower Northowram by four runs.

Triangle made 253-6 at Thornton, with a century from Nathan Madden, but the home side won by six wickets with seven balls to spare.

Openers Wayne Cotton (61) and Chris Ramsden (47) put on 114 and Mick Shanks helped complete the job with 56 not out.
