Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Andrew Gale will be banned if he swiftly tots up another three disciplinary points Andrew Gale will be banned if he swiftly tots up another three disciplinary points

Andrew Gale has been penalised six points by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for showing dissent at umpire Peter Willey’s incorrect decision to give him out caught behind off his trouser leg in the recent LV= County Championship match against Lancashire.

Gale challenged a decision that was reversed, but the ECB have punished him anyway.

The Yorkshire skipper was given six points instead of three because of a previous offence within the last two years. Another swift three points would force a ban.
