There were fireworks in Group D of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League as Paul Cuthbertson blasted an unbeaten 210 for Mayfield, a new record for second-team players.

Cuthbertson shared an unbroken stand of 300 with Adam McKenny, who contributed 68 not out to a final total of 308-1 against Great Horton Meths.

Andy Wiseman stood firm with an unbeaten 42 in reply but his team-mates came and went in a final total of 82 all out.

Leaders Tabs defeated second-placed Buttershaw St Pauls (83 – Ishaq Daud 42no) by three wickets, while Cambing (170-7 – Faim Jan 50no) are third after crushing Muff Field (83).

Bradford Indians enjoyed a seven-wicket win over YMCA after Vikramjeet Singh took 6-12 to dismiss them for only 32.

Interlink were knocked off the top of Group A by opponents Salem Athletic after they sealed a dramatic last-ball win.

Salem were all out for 166 as Mohammed Pandor took 5-24 and although Interlink made steady progress in reply, they lost regular wickets and were left needing nine runs to win off the final over.

They ultimately fell three runs short when losing their last wicket off the final delivery of the match.

Bradford Moor beat Girlington by four wickets in a high-scoring contest. Girlington made 205, with Zahid Ikhlaq hitting 80 as Zafar Iqbal claimed 5-18. Jahan Zeb then scored 59 as Moor reached their target.

Waqas Butt took 4-29 as Yorkshire LPS were all out for 112 and then scored 47 not out as Heaton won by six wickets.

Sher Khan struck 75 as Apperley Bridge were restricted to 122 at home to Cambing, who gained a narrow one-wicket win despite the efforts of Zaka Ullah (5-19).

Omars lead the way by five points in Group B after a narrow one-wicket win at home to Girlington (99 – Arfan Ali 4-31).

Salem Athletic are second after they won at Greenfield by outscoring them 91 to 67, which saw Yasir Khan take 5-27.

Joint-second are VVS Laxman, who defeated Bowling Baptist on their new ground by dismissing them for 52 in reply to 165 (Ghazanfar Bashir 5-23).

Great Horton Church and Bradford Gymkhana tied their match on 115 apiece, Danyaal Ahmed having scored 48 not out on his debut for Church.

Shujan Khan (91) and Waqas Ahmed (62) steered Hallfield to 236 at Allerton, who were all out for 128 in response.

Yorkshire Friends are top of Group C after the other undefeated teams had their records ended.

LPS could make only 46 against Shakeel Quyyam (6-14), although Friends lost six wickets in passing the total.

Hallfield beat West Bowling (95) by two wickets, while Muff Field overcame Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths (79) by five wickets thanks to Frank Powell (5-30) and Mayfield (152) defeated Mandhata by 47 runs despite a knock of 55 by Hirne Morka.
