The Bulls' appeal against their points deduction will be heard on Wednesday, June 4, the Rugby Football League announced this afternoon.

The hearing, before an independent sporting sanctions appeals panel, will be held three days after the Bulls play Wakefield in a potential relegation four-pointer at Odsal's Provident Stadium.

Bradford were docked six points by the RFL's board of directors on February 25 after going into administration for the second time in two years.

The club opted to launch an unprecedented appeal after Marc Green took charge of the club and the appeal was granted by the RFL.

The panel, which will comprise experts in financial law and insolvency, will consider the cases put by Bradford and the RFL and has the power to reduce the sanction, overthrow it or uphold it.

Bradford are currently second from bottom of the First Utility Super League on zero points, above London Broncos on points difference and eight behind Wakefield.
