Bradford Park Avenue followed up the extension of Paul Walker’s contract at the club by getting Alex Davidson to commit for the coming season.

Top-scorer Walker and mercurial forward Davidson are both crowd favourites at Horsfall Stadium.

Getting them both to pen new deals was top of the agenda for Bradford boss John Deacey.

The manager is working on keeping the nucleus of last-term’s squad together and looking to add more quality players.

Deacey and finance director Kevin Hainsworth have been very busy in the four weeks since the end of last season.
