Elliot Minchella has been included in a 20-man England Academy squad to face France in a one-off Test match at Castleford on Friday.
The Leeds Rhinos star, who hails from Bradford and progressed through the ranks at West Bowling, made his Super League debut last season and then signed a three-year full-time deal at Headingley.
Friday’s match represents the first opportunity for the Academy players to impress ahead of the eagerly-anticipated two-Test series against the Australia Secondary School Rugby League (ASSRL) in December.
