Anglers are reminded that the only legal methods of fishing on the rivers at present are fly, minnow, artificial lure or worm. As it is a bank holiday on Monday, go fishing then before coming along to assist with the work at Tong Park. The weed situation is considerably better than last year following treatment with a dyestuff designed to cut sunlight penetration into the water. We have constructed a bridge across the north outlet and a number of fixed pegs have been made. We have some planting to do near the new fence and several more fixed pegs to construct. The more assistance from members, the faster these will be built. The working parties continue every Saturday at Tong Park, starting at about 9am. For further information, contact David on 07909-813915.
