Bradford & Bingley received a walkover in the Yorkshire Cup last night.
They were due to play Hull at home in a quarter-final but the East Yorkshire club pulled out due to injury and unavailabilities.
Hull’s Chris Murphy e-mailed Bees secretary Nick Patterson yesterday morning, saying: “Apologies but due to a long injury list picked up in our final league game on Saturday and players’ unavailability, we are unfortunately going to have to pull out of tonight’s fixture.
“We had only 11 fit or available players at training last night! Good luck in the semi-finals.”
Bradford & Bingley will now play at Otley next Tuesday (6.45pm), with the winners to face Wharfedale.
