Swinton Lions 20 Keighley Cougars 33

Keighley gained a 33-20 win over Swinton in the all-Championship fifth-round tie at Leigh Sports Village to earn a potentially lucrative Tetley’s Challenge Cup quarter-final.

Two tries from stand-off Anthony Bowman had given the home side an early 10-4 lead and he completed his hat-trick on the hour during their second-half fightback only to finish on the losing side.

Former Hull and Warrington winger Richie Barnett scored two tries for the Cougars, with Daley Williams scoring their clincher on 63 minutes before Paul Handforth rounded off the scoring with a drop goal five minutes from the end.
