Thackley into cup final
Thackley Reserves won their Lancashire League Cup semi-final at Hyde Reserves 2-1 with goals from Kyle Fox and Arnold Nsimbe.
They will meet the winners of Lancaster City Reserves and FC United Reserves in the final at the beginning of May at a venue to be decided.
In the North West Counties League, Michael Hall was on target for Silsden Reserves but they lost 2-1 at home to New Mills Reserves.
Thackley entertain Eccleshill United at Dennyfield tonight (7.45pm) in tomorrow night in the Northern Under-19 Alliance League.
Thursday fixtures – Northern U19 Alliance League: Ossett Town v Field AFC; Lancashire League East: Liversedge Reserves v Nelson Reserves.
