Queensbury marched through to the Jack Senior Memorial Bradford Cup final after a crushing 50-0 success against holders Birkenshaw at East Bierley.

The hosts were left stunned by a procession of tries from Tom Hainsworth (2), Joe Flanagan (2), Matty Kernan, Jon Farr, Josh Naylor and Dan Clark.

Wingman Scott Swann played a major part in the half-century blitz with a try and seven conversions to set up a mouth-watering showdown against Wibsey Warriors at Bradford Salem on Sunday, May 11.

The Warriors made it a double for the club as they reached the Hudson Foster final with a 25-16 win over Queensbury A and will meet Victoria Rangers at the same venue.

Wibsey always had the edge and posted four tries from Adam Bose, Ben Cousins, Matt Cumberworth and Danny McDonald. Cumberworth also kicked four conversions and a drop goal.

Victoria Rangers will play Crofton in the Pennine Supplementary Cup final following their 48-6 win at Dearne Valley Bulldogs.

The Vics dominated in both attack and defence straight from the kick-off, with the young half-back combination of Oscar Woodhead and Aaron Levy outstanding throughout.

Hooker Isaac Brown stole the show with five tries and Martin Southwell (2), Rob Stones and Levy added to the tally, with Aiden Scully on target six times with the boot.

Pennine League action saw Odsal Sedbergh A post a 32-16 home win against King Cross Park A in Division Seven.

Sam Hall, John Adams, Jonny Ward, Shane Scrimshaw, Karl Read and Nick Chapman made the whitewash Queensbury B brought their campaign to a close with a 26-16 win at Wyke A.

’Bury stalwart Andy Thornton scored his first try for five years as he added to other efforts from Luke Brearcliffe (2), Gareth Crowther and Dan Priestley.
