At Tong Park, the weed situation is considerably better than last year following treatment with a dyestuff designed to cut sunlight penetration into the water. We have constructed a bridge across the north outlet, and a number of fixed pegs have been made. We have several more to construct. The greater assistance from members, the faster these will be built.

The working parties continue every Saturday at Tong Park, starting at about 9am. For further information, contact David on 07909-813915.

Anglers are reminded that the only legal methods of fishing on the rivers at present are fly, minnow, artificial lure or worm.
