Bradford Bulls in rude health ahead of Salford Red Devils clash

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Bulls skipper Matt Diskin is fit to return Bulls skipper Matt Diskin is fit to return

Bulls coach Francis Cummins has been handed a triple boost ahead of Friday night’s visit of Salford Red Devils.

Skipper Matt Diskin, half-back Lee Gaskell and front-rower Adam Sidlow are in the 19-man squad for the First Utility Super League round-eight tie.

Gaskell is ready to return – ahead of schedule – after recovering from a knee injury suffered earlier this year, while Diskin and Sidlow – who were struck down during the Bulls’ defeat to Hull Kingston Rovers last month – are also back in contention.

Bulls' 19-man squad: Danny Addy, Matty Blythe, Matt Diskin, James Donaldson, Jamal Fakir, Dale Ferguson, Jamie Foster, Luke Gale, Lee Gaskell, Adam Henry, Elliot Kear, Brett Kearney, Manase Manuokafoa, Anthony Mullally, Adam O’Brien, Adrian Purtell, Adam Sidlow, Chev Walker, Sam Wood.

Seems like things are starting to come together for us, some selection headaches for Franny as well, I'd go with:

1. BK
2. Kear 3. Purtell 4. Henry 5. Foster
6. Gaskell 7. Gale
8. Nas 9. Diskin 10. Mullally
11. Ferguson 12. Walker
13. Donaldson

14. AOB 15. Fakir 16. Sidlow 17. Addy/Blythe

Could have a real chance in this game. COYB

I would have Addy and Blythe in the 17, possibly in place of Chev. Starting to look like a squad now. COYB!!!

Fanny with headache on team selection, who to leave out. Makes a change against who he can select to make up the team. Comments regarding the team and chance of winning instead of behind the scenes. Good to get back to some normality. Now lets concentrate on moving up the table.

Feels like the season is finally starting again. Lets hope the players can respond and put in a performance that might get people through the gates again. Some hard games coming up but we need to start competing now, no more excuses, its time for the guys to reward Francis Cummins.

Blythe in Centres for Henry or Purtell, Addy plays at loose fwd maybe Chev back in the centres too!! Four ball handlers who can attack the line and forwards to work with. I'm sure FC has a better handle on where they are at though. Nas to start and hope Sidlow is fit too. Mullally and Fakir to come off the bench. Hope they can cope with an embarassment of riches....
